About Me

by admin on November 12, 2009

I’m a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER(TM) with thoughts and opinions on many things that I don’t get to express professionally.   So this is my forum to exercise my right of free speech.  My background is diverse.  I grew up in New Jersey, graduated from Villanova University, received a Navy commission and was assigned to a ship in San Diego.  After two Vietnam tours, I was asigned shore duty in San Diego, went back to school for an MBA, and found a wife.   In 1978, I resigned my commission and went to work for Libbey Glass in City of Industry, CA.    I moved the family to Chino Hills, CA  and still live there.  Three children, another masters degree, and many years later, I retired from Libbey to open my own Finnacial Planning Business in Riverside, CA.  This had been my passion and I decided to pursue it while I was still young enough to make a living at it.  I received my CFP(R) designation in 2009 following completion of the required  three years experience.

If you are a client of mine, you should not get advice from this site.   In fact, nobody should act on any of my advice or opinions without further research related to your specific situation.  I will share what I know openly and honestly, but I will not always be right!   I have no intention to sell you anything or promote my planning business.
